Joshua & Brianna's journey began in June of 2022 at the premiere of Joshua’s movie, Edge of Summer: Breakpoint. Though they had known each other from school, it was that night that they really started talking and getting to know each other. Joshua noticed Brianna’s sweet energy and infectious spirit, while Brianna saw his determination, humor, and caring heart. From that night on, their friendship grew, and even while Joshua was away for training at Travis, countless FaceTimes and long conversations kept them close, making the miles feel a little shorter.

A turning point came when Joshua surprised Brianna at her baptism, a moment full of love and thoughtfulness that showed just how much they truly cared for one another. Shortly after, they shared one of many dates at California Pizza Kitchen, laughing, talking, and realizing that their connection was something more profound than friendship. That day marked the start of falling in love.

Over the months, their relationship blossomed through both big adventures and everyday moments. From working on films together, sharing holidays, and serving in church ministry, to cheering each other on through Joshua’s Air Force career and Brianna's education, their love grew stronger with every shared experience. Even the simple things, like those late-night FaceTimes or quiet dinners, became cherished memories that helped shape their story.

The proposal was a beautiful reflection of their journey together. Joshua chose Simpson Park, the place of their very first date, and created a heartfelt picnic setup. With a mix of nerves and excitement, he shared his love and got down on one knee. Brianna, completely surprised, was overcome with tears and joy, and Joshua’s careful planning made it a moment neither of them will ever forget.

Joshua & Brianna describe the relationship as fun, adventurous, supportive, and deeply faith-filled, most importantly, unique. As they look forward to marriage, they’re most excited to finally live together, experience new adventures, build a family, and continue creating memories filled with love, laughter, and faith. Their story is still being written, but they surely know they made the right decision.
